Community

One of the bigger challenges in providing help to those in need, especially when families may be experiencing needs for the first time, is providing information about services and systems available. The Growing Community Connections’s Community Resource Guide seeks to help families find assistance immediately. With better information, not only can local communities use finite program resources more efficiently, but also families’ needs can be matched more effectively. We share this resource to connect people in new ways to create real and impactful change, whether it be a streamlined way to find “where do I take my stuff” to quick and easy community engagements.

Siouxland Philanthropy brings professionals together to network around fundraising and philanthropy, encourages best & ethical fundraising practices, offers opportunities for continual training, and provides one source for community-based and fundraising events.

Comprehensive Strategy is now Source For Siouxland – a collaborative, strategic community planning initiative for a vibrant, safe, and healthy Siouxland. Siouxland Big Give, organized by the Siouxland Community Foundation, to grow philanthropy in Siouxland and celebrate non-profits. Our Fourth Annual Siouxland Big Give giving day will take place on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021. The goal of this community-wide giving event is to match Siouxland area supporters’ passions and generosity with local nonprofit organizations already doing great work. Through the combined participation of all people who love and care about the Siouxland area, we can significantly impact the future of our beloved community. The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum. Prizes and challenge funds amplify charitable donations to make each dollar go further.
