Greg Kenyon –
With more than 45 years of legal experience, Greg Kenyon is a shareholder at Dickinson Bradshaw in Des Moines, Iowa, where he focuses on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and elder law. He is widely recognized for his work advising older adults and their families on long-term care planning, including navigating Medicaid (Title XIX) eligibility and structuring assets to preserve benefits. A sought-after speaker, Greg regularly presents at Bar Association and continuing legal education programs on topics such as special needs planning, elder law, and probate matters.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts from Buena Vista University and his Juris Doctor from Drake University. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles as chair of both the Iowa Bar Association’s Probate and Elder Law Sections. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Des Moines Estate and Business Planners. Greg has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for elder law since 2007 and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of legal ability and ethics.

Joel Vos –
Joel Vos is a partner with the Heidman Law Firm, P.L.L.C. He has been with the firm since 2002 and practices in the areas of estate planning and charitable gifting, as well as general corporate and agricultural law. Additionally, Joel maintains an active appellate practice and has argued a number of cases before the Iowa Supreme Court and Iowa Court of Appeals. He received his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2002, graduating with highest distinction. Joel received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Dordt College in 1999. He is licensed to practice in Iowa and South Dakota.
Joel has been married to his wife Christie for almost 25 years, and has two children. When he is not busy with work, Joel is active with his church’s praise and worship team. He is a member of the Sioux City municipal band and the All America Concert Band.
