Clifford E. Perry Scholarship

BACKGROUND: This scholarship fund was established by the Clifford E. Perry Trust, within the Hinton Community School District Foundation (HCSDF), an affiliate of the Siouxland Community Foundation, headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa.

PURPOSE: The purpose of the scholarship program is to assist graduating high school seniors in their pursuit of a post-secondary education at an accredited two-year institution including a technical or trade program.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Applicants must be graduating seniors from Hinton High School in Hinton, IA and must be attending a technical or trade school. No GPA requirement.

SELECTION CRITERIA: Selection of recipients is based on such factors as hidden potential, unique circumstances, academics and school/community/family activities.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Minimum $1,000, not renewable.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Application must be received by the February 1 deadline and must include the following:
• Completed online application
• Official high school transcript
